Siegert writes to inspire her readers.

She was born in Sapporo, Japan in 1983 to her Japanese parents. She had always been a creative soul. She liked drawing, painting, reading, and writing, at all of which people thought she was good. She attended Hokkkaido University of Education, Sapporo as an International Relations major and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor's Degree.

She moved to Sacramento, California in the summer of 2008 in order to marry her now ex-husband. She went through a divorce in 2011, of which the experience she makes the most to write, and live as an independent woman.

Siegert now resides in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
